Eurostat has released a new online publication, presenting climate change mitigation statistics, and a dashboard on environmental accounts. They both show links between activities of economic actors, such as producers and consumers, and the environment and climate change.
Did you know that the producers of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning in the EU reduced their greenhouse gas emissions by more than 30% during the last decade? Or that last year, 50% of private investment in climate change mitigation in the EU was carried out by transportation and storage service providers?
